Climate change is in global or regional climate patterns. It refers to the rise in average surface temperatures on Earth. Climate change is the most discussed issue in the present world and it attracts the attention of people from all walks of life on local and global levels. Environmental scientists and activists are mostly concerned about the quick changes of climate. The main cause of climate change is the burning of fossil fuels, such as oil and coal, which emits greenhouse gases into the atmosphere - mostly carbon dioxide.

Other human activities, such as agriculture and deforestation, also contribute to the increase of greenhouse gases that cause climate change. The climate is changing rapidly. It leaves bad impacts on the developing countries. These impacts include temperature rise, greenhouse and carbon dioxide gas emissions, irregular rainfall. Salinity intrusion, rise of floods, cyclones, storm surges and draught etc. No doubt, these seriously affect the agriculture and livelihood of the developing countries. 

Bangladesh, for the geographical locations, is likely to the most affected. A one meter sea-level rise will submerge about one-third of the total area of Bangladesh, which will uproot 25-30 million people of Bangladesh. To reduce the bad impact of climate change people should be aware. We should plant more trees and stop using harmful chemicals to reduce the bad impact of Climate change. Students should be careful to protect the environment and raise awareness. In fact, to reduce the bad impact of climate change all of us should work together, otherwise our existence will be at stake.

বাংলা অর্থ: জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন বিশ্বব্যাপী বা আঞ্চলিক জলবায়ু প্যাটার্নে ঘটে। এটি পৃথিবীর গড় পৃষ্ঠের তাপমাত্রা বৃদ্ধিকে বোঝায়। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন বর্তমান বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে আলোচিত বিষয় এবং এটি স্থানীয় এবং বিশ্বব্যাপী সকল স্তরের মানুষের দৃষ্টি আকর্ষণ করে। পরিবেশ বিজ্ঞানী এবং কর্মীরা বেশিরভাগই জলবায়ুর দ্রুত পরিবর্তন নিয়ে উদ্বিগ্ন। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের প্রধান কারণ হল জীবাশ্ম জ্বালানি, যেমন তেল এবং কয়লা পোড়ানো, যা বায়ুমণ্ডলে গ্রিনহাউস গ্যাস নির্গত করে - বেশিরভাগই কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইড।

কৃষিকাজ এবং বন উজাড়ের মতো অন্যান্য মানবিক কার্যকলাপও জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের জন্য দায়ী এবং গ্রিনহাউস গ্যাসের বৃদ্ধিতে অবদান রাখে। জলবায়ু দ্রুত পরিবর্তিত হচ্ছে। এটি উন্নয়নশীল দেশগুলির উপর খারাপ প্রভাব ফেলে। এই প্রভাবগুলির মধ্যে রয়েছে তাপমাত্রা বৃদ্ধি, গ্রিনহাউস এবং কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইড গ্যাস নির্গমন, অনিয়মিত বৃষ্টিপাত। লবণাক্ততার অনুপ্রবেশ, বন্যার বৃদ্ধি, ঘূর্ণিঝড়, ঝড়ো হাওয়া এবং খরা ইত্যাদি। নিঃসন্দেহে, এগুলি উন্নয়নশীল দেশগুলির কৃষি এবং জীবিকাকে মারাত্মকভাবে প্রভাবিত করে।

ভৌগোলিক অবস্থানের জন্য, বাংলাদেশ সবচেয়ে বেশি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত হওয়ার সম্ভাবনা রয়েছে। সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠের এক মিটার বৃদ্ধি বাংলাদেশের মোট এলাকার প্রায় এক-তৃতীয়াংশ ডুবে যাবে, যা বাংলাদেশের আড়াই কোটি থেকে তিন কোটি মানুষকে উপড়ে ফেলবে। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের খারাপ প্রভাব কমাতে মানুষের সচেতন হওয়া উচিত। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের খারাপ প্রভাব কমাতে আমাদের আরও বেশি গাছ লাগানো উচিত এবং ক্ষতিকারক রাসায়নিক ব্যবহার বন্ধ করা উচিত। শিক্ষার্থীদের পরিবেশ রক্ষা এবং সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে সতর্ক থাকা উচিত। প্রকৃতপক্ষে, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের খারাপ প্রভাব কমাতে আমাদের সকলের একসাথে কাজ করা উচিত, অন্যথায় আমাদের অস্তিত্ব ঝুঁকির মুখে পড়বে।

Climate change is the most important issue in the present world. The causes of climate change can be divided into two categories. They are due to natural causes and the causes created by men global warming is the main natural reason, and using harmful chemicals in every day life is the main reason created by main. The climate is changing rapidly that result in the rise of the earth's average temperature. The global climate change and its consequences are leaving a bad impact on the developing countries like Bangladesh. The serious consequences of climate change are rising of temperature, greenhouse effect. Erratic rainfall, floods, cyclones, draught, melting of polar ice-caps etc. Which seriously affect the livings of the people of poorer countries. 

Bangladesh, for its geographical locations, is likely to be the most affected country in the world. The developed nations, which are more responsible for such climate changes, should take responsibilities to protect the victim countries. A one meter rising of sea-level will submerge about one-third of the total area of Bangladesh, which will uproot 25-30 million people should be made aware. Tree plantation can reduce global warming. A voiding the usuage of harmful chemicals can reduce environment pollution. Students should be careful to protect the environment and raise awareness. Thus students can play a vital role to reduce the bad impacts of climate change.

বাংলা অর্থ: বর্তমান বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ সমস্যা হলো জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের কারণগুলোকে দুটি ভাগে ভাগ করা যেতে পারে। তার মধ্যে একটি হলো প্রাকৃতিক কারণ এবং অন্যটি হলো মানুষের দ্বারা সৃষ্ট কারণ। বৈশ্বিক উষ্ণায়নই প্রধান প্রাকৃতিক কারণ এবং দৈনন্দিন জীবনে ক্ষতিকারক রাসায়নিকের ব্যবহারই এর প্রধান কারণ। জলবায়ু দ্রুত পরিবর্তিত হচ্ছে যার ফলে পৃথিবীর গড় তাপমাত্রা বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। বিশ্বব্যাপী জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন এবং এর পরিণতি বাংলাদেশের মতো উন্নয়নশীল দেশগুলির উপর খারাপ প্রভাব ফেলছে। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের গুরুতর পরিণতি হলো তাপমাত্রা বৃদ্ধি, গ্রিনহাউস প্রভাব। অনিয়মিত বৃষ্টিপাত, বন্যা, ঘূর্ণিঝড়, খরা, মেরু অঞ্চলের বরফ গলে যাওয়া ইত্যাদি। যা দরিদ্র দেশগুলির জীবনযাত্রাকে মারাত্মকভাবে প্রভাবিত করে।

ভৌগোলিক অবস্থানের কারণে বাংলাদেশ বিশ্বের সবচেয়ে বেশি ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত দেশ হতে পারে। উন্নত দেশগুলি, যারা এই ধরনের জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের জন্য বেশি দায়ী, তাদের ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত দেশগুলিকে রক্ষা করার দায়িত্ব নেওয়া উচিত। সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠের উচ্চতা এক মিটার বৃদ্ধি পেলে বাংলাদেশের মোট আয়তনের প্রায় এক-তৃতীয়াংশ ডুবে যাবে, যার ফলে আড়াই কোটি মানুষ পানি বন্দি হয়ে পড়বে। বৃক্ষরোপণ বিশ্ব উষ্ণায়ন কমাতে পারে। ক্ষতিকারক রাসায়নিকের ব্যবহার বন্ধ করে পরিবেশ দূষণ কমানো সম্ভব। শিক্ষার্থীদের পরিবেশ রক্ষা এবং সচেতনতা বৃদ্ধিতে সতর্ক থাকা উচিত। এভাবে শিক্ষার্থীরা জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের খারাপ প্রভাব কমাতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা পালন করতে পারে।

climate change refers to the change in the world climate. Climate change is causing different kinds of irregular behaviour in the world climate, including frequent natural calamities. Currently, climate change has become a major global concern. There are many causes of climate change. Firstly, Global warming is the main cause for it. Secondly, environmental pollution is responsible for climate change. Thirdly, the destruction of forests causes the problem. The climate is changing rapidly because of the unwise activities of human being. In fact, we human beings are responsible for climate change.

We are burning a huge volume of fossil fuel everyday which release carbon dioxide into the air. We also cut down trees at random which strengthens greenhouse effect. Thus, we are increasing the temperature of the atmosphere. As a result, the polar ice are melting of the north and south poles. And for this, the sea level is rising. And thus, we are losing our low-lying agriculture land. It is true that we cannot prevent climate change, but we certainly can reduce the harmful effects of climate change. 

If we use renewable energy like solar energy and wind energy instead of burning of fossil fuels like oil, coal, natural gas etc. we will be able to reduce green house effects, we will be able to reduce the harmful effects of climate change. So, we have to make people aware of the destructive effects of climate change and motivate them to act accordingly.

বাংলা অর্থ: জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন বলতে বিশ্ব জলবায়ুর পরিবর্তনকে বোঝায়। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের ফলে বিশ্ব জলবায়ুতে বিভিন্ন ধরণের অনিয়মিত আচরণ ঘটছে, যার মধ্যে ঘন ঘন প্রাকৃতিক দুর্যোগও রয়েছে। বর্তমানে, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন একটি প্রধান বৈশ্বিক উদ্বেগের বিষয় হয়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে। জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের অনেক কারণ রয়েছে। প্রথমত, বিশ্ব উষ্ণায়ন এর প্রধান কারণ। দ্বিতীয়ত, পরিবেশ দূষণ জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের জন্য দায়ী। তৃতীয়ত, বন ধ্বংস এই সমস্যার কারণ। মানুষের অজ্ঞতাপূর্ণ কার্যকলাপের কারণে জলবায়ু দ্রুত পরিবর্তিত হচ্ছে। আসলে, আমরা মানুষ জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের জন্য দায়ী।

আমরা প্রতিদিন প্রচুর পরিমাণে জীবাশ্ম জ্বালানি পোড়াচ্ছি যা বাতাসে কার্বন ডাই অক্সাইড নির্গত করছে। আমরা এলোমেলোভাবে গাছ কেটে ফেলছি যা গ্রিনহাউস প্রভাবকে শক্তিশালী করছে। এভাবে আমরা বায়ুমণ্ডলের তাপমাত্রা বৃদ্ধি করছি। ফলস্বরূপ, উত্তর ও দক্ষিণ মেরুর বরফ গলে যাচ্ছে। এবং এর জন্য, সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠের উচ্চতা বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে। এবং এর ফলে, আমরা আমাদের নিম্নভূমির কৃষিজমি হারাচ্ছি। এটা সত্য যে আমরা জলবায়ু পরিবর্তন রোধ করতে পারি না, তবে আমরা অবশ্যই জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের ক্ষতিকারক প্রভাব কমাতে পারি।

তেল, কয়লা, প্রাকৃতিক গ্যাস ইত্যাদি জীবাশ্ম জ্বালানির পরিবর্তে যদি আমরা সৌরশক্তি এবং বায়ুশক্তির মতো নবায়নযোগ্য শক্তি ব্যবহার করি, তাহলে আমরা গ্রিন হাউসের প্রভাব কমাতে সক্ষম হব, জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের ক্ষতিকারক প্রভাব কমাতে সক্ষম হব। তাই, আমাদের জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের ধ্বংসাত্মক প্রভাব সম্পর্কে জনগণকে সচেতন করতে হবে এবং সেই অনুযায়ী কাজ করতে তাদের উদ্বুদ্ধ করতে হবে।
